To Do · A Mending Project is a project created  by artists Michelle Montjoy, Anna O’Cain, and Siobhán Arnold in response to the escalation of political, social, and economic tensions in the United States. Focusing on the act of repair they sought the support of their community, asking other artists, teachers  and activists to share their knowledge; organizing free workshops for the public. Beginning with a residency in 2018 at 1805 Gallery in San Diego, numerous pop-up events and then a three month engagement in 2019 at MCASD, the artists have sought to challenge ideas of consumption, alter engagement with traditional spaces and offer spaces of comfortable conversation and making.  for more information go to todomendingproject.org
